Being the continuous writer's-block person I am -- I tried. >:

Prologue

"Make haste! Hath you!" said he, spreading his arms far and wide, long and out for all to see. "On the brink of war, one shouldn't drag -- it will be the death of him!" The crowd before him contained men, women, the elderly (that were still in shape to fight, that is), and even children; and they all cheered, for battle had stooped upon their people, which was rarely a time spent; in another matter of saying they loved to fight and were eager. To add to it, it was a sort of civil war -- their empire had split between Irken and beast between their leaders. "Who, my kin, be ready for our final confrontation?" The crowd burst out in another uproar of cheers, throwing what looked like large eagle feathers into the air as you would confetti. "Proceed then, the Eagle shall rise and show its light!" the leader cried, unsheathing his sword that had rested on his hip for a night too many and raising it high to his people. The sword shone with a spectacular brilliance, a brilliance they would all need to survive the coming battle.
