Talk about these movies: Underworld and Underworld evolution.

I think they are the best movies ever made!!!

I like the first one. But one thing bugs me - they akways fire their guns with their arms straight. That would probably shatter your arm in reality, because just as much force that was propelling the bullet would push the gun back too. It's one of Newton's laws of ohysics or something.

XD Most movies put it like that - when a character fires a gun, they have their arms straight.

Or fire from the hip. Grr.

Ya... I like it how they have reflections and don't fear garlic and anyone would die with a stake through the chest.

I kind of get the no reflection thing... but the garlic... eh...

The best thing I can come up with for the garlic thing is that the disease that causes the Vampirism is harmed by garlic through a chemical reation. But because the person and the disease are one, the garlic harms the person too.
But the mirror thing is lost on me.

Maybe because they're dead...? DX IDK, this is all very confusing...

But if you held a corpse up in front of a mirror it would still have a reflection because it is still made of matter.

Hrm... good point... Um, cuz their spirits are dead? Idk... ><(

Maybe cause they live in the dark, they go so pale, that they are hard to see?

I think that Bram Stoker's book Dracula influenced alot of the Vampire culture. Dracula was based on a real person - Vlad Dracula, a.k.a Vlad the Impaler. His father was called Vlad Dracul - means 'devil' or 'dragon'. Dracula means 'son of Dracul'. He ruled for only six years yet was responsible for the deaths of thousands. He would often impale his enemies' heads on stakes and display them as a deterrant. I don't think he was a particularly nice person.

I remember seeing a documentary-type movie about that... it was quite interesting. =B I think his wife committed suicide because she couldn't bear seeing her son learning about and enjoying all the horrid things Vlad did to his victims...?

I think that that family is quite messed up.

No kidding.

I know... I think that I hate lots of people.

I like the special effects of the movies.
Did you know that heaps of it was done with miniatures???
