Blood Hunt

Murderers, treasonists, robbers; you name it; all sorts have wound up in a maximum security prison on Vort. But when a bored billionaire decides to find some form of amusement in them, things could get truly dangerous. They are taken to a 'rubbish planet' - one that the Empire has no interest in - and left with minimal technology to survive on an alien planet they know nothing about. The planet? Earth. (Bet you didn't see that one coming.)
But the game isn't finished yet. They are being hunted. If they are caught, they will be killed. But, if they can evade their persuers for four days, they will go free. They will return to Irk with clean records and be allowed to start fresh. New lives, a second chance.
Can they survive? Or will they be hunted down and slaughtered like animals? Running from the best for four days - and playing for the ultimate prize. Their lives.



Just a couple of rules; no Irkens with super powers, magic powers or anything like that. Your characters will have to rely on their skill alone on this one.
And please don't give your character dozens of weapons hidden on his or her person. The occasional shard of glass is okay, or the little plastic forks or knives, but don't give them a gun and a set of throwing knives and num-chucks and so on.

background: was trained as an Invader, amoung various other things, during which he discreetly killed several people. He wound up working in a hospital where he murdered patients for five years until he was caught and placed in a prison. Then he broke out and was re-captured - three times. He was then moved to the high-security prison, where he needs to learn to stop trying to escape.
allies: he knows very few people and mostly keeps to himself.

powers: can move very silently and enter a room unnoticed almost all of the time. Can go unnoticed at most times. Excellent at lying, can even trick lie detectors. Can usually tell when other people are lying. Very sly, manipulative and persuasive.
other: flinches at loud noises. Steals pens.

background: She was sweet and obedient like the Empire wanted. Then she hooked up to this virtual game... that fried her pack. She went a little crazy and tried to rob the Federal Reserve Bank of Irk and killed one of the people who tried to stop her and seriously injured another before she was sedated and taken to the high-security prison. Certain sounds, smells or words can set her off and she'll try to kill anyone within sight. But when she isn't on a manic rampage she is a sweet, friendly little angel.

Thead couldn't help himself. The guard had a pen in his pocket, just sitting there, waiting to be taken. It was hanging so far out it would probably just fall to the floor when he moved. But it was so nice and shiny and blue...
The other pens in his jacket bumped together like they were excited. He crept closer, ignoring all the cafeteria noises and dodgey floor stains, keeping to the shadows. There were plenty of those here. Shadows.
He reached out and wrapped his grip around the pen. The guard didn't notice. He was talking to someone, no time for pens! Thead stuck the pen in his pocket and quickly scampered off to the other side of the cafeteria to examine his prize. He sat down next to some guy and began to admire the shiny blueness of the stolen pen.
Thead didn't think that being in prison had affected his mental health at all.


Shile flounced around the cafeteria, her antenna bobbing up and down comically. She skipped up to a woman sitting in a corner and began to tell jokes and sing and try other social tactics. But she just stared into space. Bor-ring. She ran up to somebody else. "Hello! I'm Shile, and I would like to be your friend! What's your name, buddy?!" she chirped, shouting out every sentence without even realising it.

(I've given you a couple of openings, or you can make your own. We'll get the boring bits over quickly so we can get to the chase! )

"Hm?" The boy turned, staring at her rather boredly. "Thanos." He replied coolly. "What brings such a nice lady to such a drab place like this?" He gestured to the area around them.

Shile giggled childishly. She liked this boy. "My PAK malfunctioned and I tried to rob the top bank on Irk. Then I hurt some people." She laughed again. "Or so they tell me. I can't remember anything about it!" She simpered cutely. "This place isn't so bad, anyways. So many interesting people to meet! Good food, a steady schedule! I love it!"
Thead flinched at every loud exclamation. "Stop shouting," he hissed, hunching over like he was expecting to be hit. Maybe he was. But he couldn't bear the girl's drilling voice.

Thanos's antennas perked up at the boy's words. He cocked his head slightly. "I see something shiny." He was suddenly beside Thead. "What could it possibly be...~~"

Shile watched Thead's movemoents. There was something feral about him. The way his antennas pressed flat against his head, or the way he curled his shoulders around himself? He was constantly hunched over, and she hadn't even noticed him until now. He wasn't the person you'd even look at once, let alone devote any attention to.
"What's up?" Shile chirped. She wanted the boy to pay attention to her, not this stupid weird man.

He glanced back at Shile with little interest. "Oh..., nothing really. Trying to pick up a few guys." He smirked. "I'm gay." He gave her a coy wink.

(Oh man that's so weird I might be role plaing with this girl (if she EVER gets on again!) who uses lots of gays. Wow that sounded so stupid.)

Thead shied away and hunched up even more. Shile frowned. "So you don't like me?" She mock-pouted, but she didn't mind. Just because he wouldn't go out with her didn't mean that he wouldn't be her friend.
One of the head guards glanced at his watch and nudged his partner. It was almost time for the prisoners t go back to their cells.

"Oh, that does not mean I don't like you," He leaned towards her. "In fact, you are very pretty." He winked at her again. "Woops," Something slipped out of his pocket. "Oh, please excuse me," He picked it up with great care. "This was a pen I got many years ago from a girl I had befriended." He sighed. "Have you ever fought with someone you loved? It's hard because you don't want to hurt them, but if you don't they might end up hurting others..." He twiddled the pen between his fingers. "This wasn't exactly the ideal present, but I thought it was kind all the same." He suddenly snapped out of his reminiscent state. He smiled, "Sorry, sometimes I get like that." He put the pen in his pocket, next to a rather shiny plastic spork.

Thead shuffled slightly. It was in the boy's pocket, just sitting there...
"All right, wrap it up! Move on!" The guard began ordering everyone back to their cells. Thead reluctantly got up and left with the flow of criminals. Shile leaned closer to the boy and said; "I guess I'll see you around?"
Thead bumped into the one person he trusted, a woman named Grayle. Nobody knew what she was there for, she never spoke about it. Some rumors were that it was high treason, but in all honesty no one had ever gathered the courage to ask.
"I was looking for you," Grayle said as she walked behind Thead.
"I was stealing pens," then they had gone down different corridors.

"I suppose so," He said, and with that he turned the other way, down towards his cell. "Hey, Bob," He said, waving to the janitor.
"I hate you," The janitor hissed. "But that's why we're friends, right?"
"Yep! Nice talking to you!" Thanos beamed and continued on his way.

"Hm," Thanos looked upwards, straight into the camera ahead. "I'm ready when you are." He said to it.

A guard sidled up next to Thanos. "Come with me," he said, putting a firm grip on the boy's shoulders.

(We'll need maybe six, so if you could make a couple of new charries that would be great. You can kill them later or adopt them, whichever you please.)

((hm, maybe we should try to get more people to join. :/ I'll make a second character, though. Just give me some time.))
"No need to be so rough, sir." Thanos stated defiantly.

(You don't have to do a write-up or anything. I'll make a place for them in this post.)

Thanos was lead to a dimly-lit room lined with wooden benches, where he was handcuffed to a wall. In the room there was also several other people, Thead and Shile amoung them.

Thanos smiled at Shile and waved the best he could, being in handcuffs. Another boy next to him smirked at such a sight.
"She yours?" He asked.
"Nope!" Thanos said.

Shile waved back, pulling at the handcuffs in a funny way. Thead, a few feet away from them both, just sat in his hunched way.
"Why do you all think we're here?" Shile asked, excited. "Isn't this exciting!" Her bright voice echoed around the room. Thead hunched even further.

The other boy noticed this and laughed, "If he hunches any further he might break his gelatinin reflex!" Thanos laughed too.
"I'm not quite sure, but I promise you this should be explained." Thanos said to Shile.

(I'm having a good time too. I love Thead. Don't like Shile so much. But I think Thanos is so cool.)

Thead only looked down at the floor. He was nervous, even more so than usual. This whole set up was unnerving. He was a older than probably all of the other people in the room, and he had enough bad experiences to know that this was possibly one of them. He was right.
A hole opened up in the ceiling and a circular platform sank down into the room. Standing on the platform was a very tall woman dressed in white. Her antenna flowed down her back and curled upwards and her eyes were a cold, pale blue. She viewed the small group with contempt.
"Let's get a few things straight," she announced. "First of all, I own you. Whatever I want to do will be done, because I am in charge." She sighed as if she was glad she had got that out of the way. "We are going to play a little game. I expect I am going to enjoy it greatly, but you may not. But that isn't important, is it?" She laughed slightly.

"Kinky," The boy noted and Thanos did his best not to explode from laughter.

The woman narrowed her eyes angrily, but said nothing in retaliation.
"As I said, we are going to play a game. To be more specific, a hunt." A holographic map appeared in the middle of the room. "You will be dropped off on this planet with some basic technology; disguises, simple weaponry..." She smirked. "We may as well make it fun, right? A challenge for me. Anway, you will have to elude me and my team of catchers for four days. If you achieve this, you will be allowed to go free. Any past crimes will be forgotten. You'll be given a second chance." She smiled in a very creepy way. "If we catch you... Well, we'll just have to find out, won't we?" She giggled as the platform rose once more up to the ceiling.

After she had ascended back to the ceiling, Shile announced; "I don't get it. Are we going to dress up?"
"Crazy," Thead muttered.
"Who, me or her?" Shile inquired.
"Both."

Thanos stared blankly at the ceiling, antennas drooping. "Awww, does this mean we won't get laid?" The other boy asked. Thanos was on the ground, laughing hysterically, the other boy grinning. In his..., er..., laugh induced stupor, Thanos's shiny red pen slipped out of his pocket and fell onto the floor with a clink.

Thead reached out with one spider leg and knocked the pen closer to him. He kept pulling it closer until he could flip it into his lap with his foot. He managed to pick the lock of the handcuffs using the pen. Thead stood and returned the red pen to Thanos with a wink, and used one of his own pens to undo the boy's handcuffs. He didn't want the pen to be just handed to him; stealing it was the thrill.
"Hey! Can you undo these, please?" Shile shouted from aross the room. Thead flattened his antennae against his head at her loud voice. It was so peircing!

Thanos growled, purred almost at Thead's actions. It was a friendly growl. xD
"Um.., I know you guys would prefer me to be in handcuffs..., but that's not how I roll." The other boy said smoothly.
Thanos laughed. "Your not my type," He stated but smiled all the same. "Here," He unlocked the other boy's handcuffs. "What's your name, anyways?" Thanos asked.
"Sesso," Sesso answered, smirking.

(lol I think the things my mind can conjure up are pretty acurate - should I be scared?)

Thead went around the room quiely and unlocked all of the handcuffs Thanos hadn't then sat back down. He considered saying something, but thought he would wait a little longer. Thead didn't wish to speak unnecisarily.

I think this is such a cool role play and I want to join but want to make sure its OK first, so may I join?

Shile was now free, and up and skipping. "This sounds like fun! An adventure!"

"Yeah," Sesso said, grinning, "an adventure," He winked suggestively. Thanos poked him hard in the squeedely splooch.
"Don't treat a lady like a ho!" He hissed.

powers: Not very special but even if ohters saw him, they don't even really notice him.
other: Is very angry but normally can keep it in but sometimes can be quite violent.

He was in with the few other irkens. He sat in a corner trying not to be noticed but every-once in a while would let out a giggle when it was too hard to hold back.

Shile pouted in mock-offense, but wasn't too bothered.
Thead was shocked that everyone was taking it so lightly. "You do realise that we could be in serious trouble?" he asked quietly in his husky, deep voice.

"I know." Said Aran quietly. He also noticed everyone didn't seem to mind that they were trapped and this stragne lady is talking about four days to avoid her and others. It seemed so strange.

Sesso shrugged. "It's best not to take anything too seriously."
"What're you guys in for, anyways?" Thanos asked, leaning forward.

"I guess some guys might be here for the same reason as me... I'm here for murdering a few people, I just went out of controll... Many of my friends were murdered and that set me off." He said. He may as well get to know these people a little better, maybe they could help one day...

Thead steepled his fingers and smiled, a genuine smile as he remembered his past. "I'm here for killing people too. But I'm not here because I lost control, I'm not here because I took lives in revenge. I'm here because I enjoy killing." He closed his eyes. "It all started with this one girl... it was an accident, of course. I never meant to kill her. I was working late and she thought I had broken in and she attacked me. In the fight I killed her. But afterwards I found that I had enjoyed it.
I began to do it as a hobby, almost. I was training as an Invader at that time, so it was easy enough. An accident here, a stupid mistake there. I got really good too. Twelve people in as many months, and they had never linked the deaths to me. There was only one guy who even thought that a death was suspicious, and that was the first girl. The only one that was an accident.
But I decided that Invader life wasn't for me and instead went to work in a hospital. It was easy there. They were already sick. It only took one missed dose of medicine, one overdose, one wrong drug and their systems were pushed over the edge. I had killed over five hundred patients when I was arrested. I had been working there for a long time, a very long time. Everyone was shocked. But I got such a high from it, such a feeling of power and completeness. It was beautiful."

Shile backed away. "You're sick!" she spat at him. "You shouldn't just be locked away, you should be deactivated." She could think of heaps of other things she wanted to do to him too, including burning his eyes out with a hot spork and making him eat his own squeedly-spooch.
She ran over to Thanos. "Please tell me you didn't do anything like that," she begged him.

"My sister died a long time ago. She had was killed while in hospital. Someone gave her the wrong drug and gave her a seizure and she exploded a little. I hope that wasn't you..." He said and gave him a questioning glance.

"Maybe it was me. But then again, maybe it was some neglegent nurse or a stupid intern." Thead observed him with cold, mocking eyes.

"Ah..., well," Thanos started a bit shyly. "It's quite a long story...," He said. "but it wasn't because I enjoyed it or anything. No, it's nothing like that! It was a misunderstanding. I was only trying to help..." He trailed off, looking very sad.
"Hmm, I got in trouble for sexual harassment. I bugged this girl three times and got sent to jail. It makes no sense too! All I did was yell about how big her ass was." Sesso explained, barely interested in the others story.
"Well, how about you, Shile?" Thanos asked warmly. "What are you in for?"

"Well... My PAK malfunctioned when I hooked it up to this game. I tried to rob the most important bank on Irk, which is considered treason and is enough to get me in here by otself. But on my way out I killed someone." She sighed. "My whole life was ripped away by an even I don't even remember."

Aran tensed and got up to charge over to Thead. He was so angry. Then he controlled himself and sat back down; he was already in enough trouble...

Thanos glanced around rather meekly. "Well..., I'm sure it was an accident!" He said, patting Shile kindly on the shoulder.
"Well, as much as I just hate to interrupt our lovely, little love monkeys..., It seems that we are here," Sesso pointed and smirked.

Thead grinned at Aran's reaction. But he stopped smiling when Sesso pointed out they had arrived.
"Does anybody know anything about this place?" Shana asked. As she did, the ceiling hole opened and a bunch of stuff fell through. There were disguises and various bags containing their 'technology'. Very basic indeed. A voice called down; "You'll get your weapons later on!"

Aran saw Thead smirking at him and gave him a warning glace as if to say, I will get you one day.
He saw the bags, he wondered if he could do with only that.

Sesso let out a grown of despair. "We're screwed and not in the good way! Ow!" He had received a pinch on the antenna from Thanos. Seriously, it's like they're brothers. O__________o

(Brothers,gay lovers or both. )

Shile ruffled through a bag. There was nothing of any use in there. Thead didn't even get up, he just extended a spider leg out towards a bag and dragged it away towards him. It was a dull grey and would sling over his shoulder.

Thanos didn't even glance at the equipment but clutched his spork tightly in his claws.

Aran got up, got his bag and slung it over his shoulder and went back to his place. He didn't bother looking through it, he could tell it was useless from the expressions of the others around him.
