Phoenix gab onto Chiem and started flying towards the ground at a lighting speed with Cheim under her about to slam into the ground

Cheim let go of her at the last second. He rolled across the ground hard but it could have been worse. He got up quickly, not even scraped.



Winter walked over to Durzan. "She's a good fighter. Faster than Cheim," she told him, more to talk to someone than anything.

"Sneaking little..." Pheonix muttered and picked herslef off the ground while looking around for Chiem when she found him she threw more fire at her with a contuinise blast flolowing Chiem

Durzan unhooded his cloak "Shes a hunter she should be the fastest creature here, but your Chiem is good and in-practise"

He ducked it and crawled out from under it. This was dangerous. This was the Underground.
Cheim wished he had some sort of element to throw back at her... He'd have to rely on skill alone. He took to the air and flew around behind Phoenix. He dive-bombed her, grabbing at her head on his way.

Pheinox pulled her head closer to her body so she could reach Chiem with her Talons and slashed at him until he would let go with fire raoring from her mouth at the same time

"Cheim, you okay?" Winter asked telepathically.
"I can't take much more of this. I just tried to face plant her - didn't work." Cheim circled above the fighting ring, wondering what to do next. He decided to wait for a while to see what his opponent would do.

Phoenix kept herself low to the ground with her wing sped out wide ready to become airborn at any time flames flickering from her mouth.. fir was not an advantage she was going to put to wast
She leeped into the air when Chiem was at her closest fire aimed right for her teeth anc Talons aimed for the neck

Cheim acted quickly. He did the only thing he could; he folded his wings in and let himself drop to the ground like a stone, pulling out of it a the last second. He scraped himself on the ground, even loosing some feathers.

Phoenix drived after him trying to snach a wing as he fell so he could not fly and landed on the ground faceing Cheim Talons ready and her teeth bared as fire flickered inbetween them

Cheim whirled around to face her, shreiking threateningly. He still waited to see what she would do.

Durzan pulled out his bow and shot a arrow of energy from it inbetween the tow Aurie and then steped inbetween them and said to Winter " I think we should call it a tie as they are both evenally matched"

Winter joined Durzan in the fighting ring. She bowed it him. "They are evenly matched. Your aurie is a very good fighter, she is strong and fast. Thank you for a good fight."
A voice rang out over the speakers. "There are humans in the ring and a tie has been called! The match is over! It's a tie!"

Durzan resecfully bowed to Winter "Until we meet again" he said Duzan turn to Phoenix and strocked her on her head "You did very well are you ok?" he asked teleiphically
"Im fine dont worrie we need to deliver this message now"
They started towards the man Durzan had talked to before and put his bow on his back and pulled out a small pin

Winter and Cheim walked out of the ring. "Are you alright?" she asked anxiously.
"I'm fine." Winter examined his wings, which had taken most of the damage.
"Are you sure? You're not going to fight again tonight are you?"
"Yes. Of course I am!" Winter smiled and ran her hands affectionately over him. "Let's go and sit down. You rest a while."

"See in you the next world" Durzan wispered in the mans ear as he walked past and placed the pin in his neck the man started to choak as DUrzan keep walking now for the exit as the man died blood dripping from his face as the people around him started to panick

Winter watched calmly as the man died horribly and people ran around screaming. Winter found herself feeling glad that she had already been paid. Cheim realised, as he looked at the blood dripping on the floor, that it had made him hungry.
"Well, I guess we're not doing any more fighting after all." Winter glaced around. "We'd better leave before the cops get involved."

The sound of the ploice had already came Durzan and Phoenix quitly walked out onto the street and watched Winter and Chiem leave
"i have a feeling we could be seeing more of them soon" Durzan said to Phoenix telepatichally

Phiona saw her leave, she wen up to the man and asked - "Why do you want me to follow her?"
"Because I know someone very strong who wants to fight her, but I'v tried to follow her before and she noticd and that would give it away." He replied.
"Ok, so you want me to find out what techneques she uses?" She asked.
"Yes, thats pretty much it." He said with a glint in his eye.
The mans blood was getting everywhere. They left and walked on to the street.

Outside, it had started to rain. Winter checked Cheim out; he had lost a few feathers on his forelegs, his fur was singed in places and of course he had that cut on his shoulder. But he was alright.
The rain fell on them both, but although Winter's dress was soaked and the rain was washing Cheim's blood out of her hair to stain her front, she didn't ven seem to notice. Cheim's thick waterproof feathers and fur kept most of the wet out and the heat in.
Winter got on Cheim's back, looking doll-like in comparison to his massive frame.
"Where to go next?" she asked the beautiful brown griffin.

Phiona saw this as her chance to meet Winter. She walked up causiouly to the griffen with Veran in front, he wouldn't stand a chance agaist though. "Hello." She said.

"Hello," replied Winter. Cheim didn't say anything, but he eyed Veran.

Durzan and his Aurie found a Hotel to stay the night so they could rest while the head from the murder died down

"I`saw you batteling today, you were very good." Said Phiona with a glint in her eye.

"Thank you very much," Winter said politely. Cheim still said nothing. These two were suspiscious to him...

"They think we are dodgy people, they don't trust us." Veran said to Phiona telepathicly.
"You were right to tie the match." She said.

"I usually do something more drastic," Winter laughed.
"I could have beaten her," Cheim muttered telepathically, though he knew it wasn't true. The two auries had been evenly matched.

Durzan sat by the 4th story window of this room struming on a guitar that be had found left in the room as be watched the people below him move about

"I'd like to see that one day!" She laughed. "Veran, my aurie, doesn't like to battle... " She said.

"I can see why. He's small," Winter said. She began to climb off of Cheim's back, but he messaged her; "Stay on." Winter didn't question Cheim. She covered up her dismount with a shuffle of position.

"Hey look its Winter talking to someone" Durzan said to Phoenix "oh your alseep"

"Do you know when you're going underground again? I thought it would be fun to watch you in action again." She said.

"When will we be going to the Underground next, do you think?" Winter asked Cheim telepathically.
"I thought we were going to that job out of town...?"
"You're right!" Winter realised that she soon would be leaving the town every day. She turned to the woman. "I don't think I'll be going for a while, I'm sorry," she told her.

"Oh well, I hope to see you there, I might even go in and try some battleling with Veran." Phiona said.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, miss... I didn't catch your name, I'm sorry?" Winter said.

"My name is Phiona, how rude of me... And you are?" Phiona asked even though she already knew that her name was Winter.

"Winter. No last name," she said. "Well, miss Phiona, it was nice talking to you," Winter said. Cheim turned to leave, Winter on his back.

"See you soon." Said Phiona. And turned around to see Veran.

Cheim took to the air, his powerful wings taking them easily through the rain. "I don't trust them," Cheim told Winter telepathically. "I agree. This is getting way too weird."

"They think we are bad people." Veran said telepathicly to Phiona. "I know Cheim would kill me if we battled..."

Duzan grabed his cloak off his bed and hooded it, jumed out of the window and scaled down the wall leaveing Pheonix behind. he then apporched the person who had been talking to Winter and said to her " your not the bet person at following people you know"

"Who said that I was following her? I was just complementing how that battle went today, you were both very good." Phiona said. "I know this man." Said Veran telepathicly to Phiona.

"Becuase it can be seen in your mind its so eaily seen if you know how to find it. You should not think of it and just keep it in your sub coniuse so that when you are around telepahis they cant see it. Just a help full hint" Durzan said to her telphically

"Just to let you know, she will not be harmed. Someone wants to battle her is all and i don't think that I will do that even though its my job." Phiona said in a hasty voice.

"Thats fine with me. Good luck" Durzan said then turned back and started walking back the way he had come

"Wait!" Phiona screamed at Veran as he went running after him and stopped him. "I know this man." Veran said telepathicly to Phiona. Phiona had no choice but to run up to him aswell. "My aurie seems to think he knows you?" She asked the man.

"Really now, Where from?" Durzan ask not showing the consiern in his voice he has a lot of bad history with some people and he wasnt to keen to let that history catch up with him today

"I'm not sure, but he doesn't sound happy about..." Said Phiona to him.

"Really? he looks nicer than he really is then" Durzan said

"Phoenix wake up we may have a fight" Durzan telephically said to his Aurie as he covered up putting a knife into his hand by just shifing his weight

Phiona knew he had a knife, he was trying to hide it. She has had many people try and killher in the past.
